We’ve (Fairfield Inn Quincy) used Backyard Barber for our lawn care for several years now, and they continue to impress us. Most recently, they completed a massive tree removal and replanting project for us, and the entire process was outstanding from start to finish. They were great to work with, professional, quick, and very communicative throughout the project. The end results look amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Highly recommend Backyard Barber for both routine lawn care and larger landscaping projects. I am even going to eventually use them for my personal house as well to complete a revamp of my front yard/entryway.

I highly recommend Gavin at Backyard Barber and his team. They just completed a landscape project including freshening up the landscape rock and edging around my entire home. The team at Backyard Barber was so great when I hired them last year to clean out a brush pile that was left by previous homeowners. Most recently, I hired them to fix and stabilize our deteriorating fence and they did a FANTASTIC job and it’s better than I could have ever imagined. They took the time to walk us through the process and explain any questions we had. I would hire them back in a second!

Working with Gavin and Kelsey was so refreshing and easy!! After having a horrible experience with someone else removing our over grown bushes from in front of our house, Backyard Barbers did everything so smoothly! Gavin and Kelsey were great to work with and answered any questions we had, their crew were friendly, and everything was done without a huge mess and they cleaned up everything so nicely when they were done. The buried drains and landscaping give our house a fresh look that we wanted! We will definitely be using them again!!

We just moved into Quincy last year and luckily found Gavin and Kelsey. Front of house was completely overgrown with out-of-control bushes. They removed everything, re-established the planting areas and just put together a beautiful arrangement of evergreens and color. I just smile every time I walk out the front door. I highly recommend and will be using for my future projects!

I can't say enough about these guys - I use them for my personal home and my rental properties. Communication is key to me, I need to be able to send a text explaining what I want and they will respond back with options and pricing and boom the project gets done. It's getting harder & harder to find contractors that are reasonable priced and reliable that do a good job and that's what these guys offer.

BYB took a blank canvas, listened to homeowner’s ideas and created as close to a tropical oasis as is possible for the MidWest. They did their research to find out the most practical plants for this area and always considered cost. They provided advice about what would and would not work short and long term. They also took on a lawn with drainage and other problems and worked to fix it in a cost effective way. BYB are versatile, creative, hardworking, punctual and listen to what their clients want. The project is ongoing and I look forward to continuing to work with them to complete it. Kudos!

They installed a paver patio for us and did a lot of landscape work. Always listens to our ideas and gives great suggestions! With my husband having knee surgery this Spring, they are mowing for us also. Great people, feels like a good friend every time they come by!
